UMIDIGI Crystal sale starts on 15th June. Here’s all you need to know about Crystal

The marvelous all-screen UMIDIGI Crystal will start the sale on 15th June, the pre-sale order has been opened for only $99 before returning to the official price. You subscribe your pre-orders now on UMIDIGI’s official website. UMIDIGI Crystal has attracted much of attention, and here are the topics that are mostly concerned about:

  • In comparison with Xiaomi Mi Mix, what’s new on UMIDIGI Crystal?
  • Is UMIDIGI Crystal a copycat of Xiaomi Mi Mix?
  • What impact would UMIDIGI Crystal bring to the smartphone industry?
  • Why UMIDIGI keeps on exploring the futuristic technology

Today let's start with the first question:
In comparison with Xiaomi Mi Mix, what’s new on UMIDIGI Crystal?
While Xiaomi Mi Mix applied ceramic acoustic technology that makes the earpiece/receiver disappeared in order to make up space for “all-screen”, it comes with the cost of losing certain audio quality and the comfort of finding the best audio spot. On UMIDIGI Crystal, you may find the receiver “disappeared” but it actually remains on the middle top of the phone with a very thin line.
How to make this happen? UMIDIGI Crystal uses a new way of audio transmission through structural innovation. This new technology is also known as Box Audio Cavity, it’s an integration design of the speaker, audio cavity, and the antenna, whereby the phone body can be significantly reduced, and at the same time maximize the vibrational space of the speaker. By this way, it allows the audio stay loud and clear with rich bass frequency.
Besides the audio transmission structure, UMIDIGI Crystal also uniquely moves the Light Sensor onto the top end of the phone.

There seems like a voting going on at the Umidigi Crystal page, but I can't seem to vote.

However, this is what I would vote for:

1. 5.5 inch FHD (1920x1080) display. NOT 5 inch HD (1280x720). If there is an option for 5 inch FHD (1920x1080), That would be fine too.

2. All-metal design. If you're including NFC, then I don't mind a glass design.

3. Yes, dual cameras please!

4. Matte Black. Alternatively, any black really. Imagine having a near-borderless display only to be bordered by the red color of the phone. It will not only break the illusion, it will be ugly as compared to an all black device.

So there you go. Umidigi, I hope you guys take my thoughts into consideration. Community, I hope you guys think the same. Cheers

ok thank you,
still some open points, like processor, SIMs, LTE bands and the complete size.
5,5inch for the screen, so the phone would feel like a 5inch phone? then my wife would like to have one...

The inclusion of the snapdragon 835 means that we will have NFC, Wifi ac MU-MIMO, and most importantly other Global LTE bands (Band 28 APT - 700Hhz) - Latin American ?? --- this is important to define and answer
