Install TWRP

I do everything on this instruction: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-2962-1-1.html

After flashing TWRP, I try to go into recovery mode (Power and Volume+) but the phone just turned on. After the restart, enters the stock recovery. Please, help.

My device: Umi plus

Go to Settings -> Developer Options -> Enable OEM unlock

Please try this :

1. Press and hold the volume-up and power buttons together until your phone restarts. It needs about 10 seconds or a little bit less.

2. When your phone is restarted, immediately release the power button but still hold the vol-up button until you see a lying android figure with an exclamation mark in red triangle on its tummy.

3. Press and hold the power and vol-up buttons (in this order) together, then release them to call the recovery menu.

Also when your phone will be on please test volume button both way.
If volume up not working try use volume down

Power and Volume- launches Factory mode, I do not need it.

In stock recovery I comes without problems. The problem specifically with TWRP.

Hey mate,

I have the same rare UMi PLUS. Here is how I fixed mine.

There is a custom built TWRP, with no touch screen. You need to use OTG mouse/keyboard or console commands to root.
Took me ages to sort it out, but the SOLUTION is in the above link.

All good mate.
At least there is some sort of solution for us. I have tried to create a ported TWRP myself but am not skilled with the kernel modification required to make the touch work.
I would love Jemmini to create a working touch screen TWRP for us, but I won't hold my breath.
