Dear beta testers,

You can find the SP Flash Tool package of the second and fully working beta release with the version number of V7.01_20170114 here. Please download and flash it, then post your feedback in this thread.

Camera, flash LED and on-screen buttons fixed!

The list of known bugs:

• The camera still needs some adjustments
• No standby and customizable color Harlequin LED (only basic notification LED settings)
• No proper fast charging - charging voltage and current jump up and down, and never stabilize

Beside the obvious risks, theoretically you can anytime go back to a stock Marshmallow ROM by flashing it with SP Flash Tool, even if you've completely bricked your phone. That is also the process you have to do in case if you decide to leave the beta program.**

**In order to properly flash an Android 6.0 ROM over an Android 7.0 version, you have to choose the 'Format All + Download' option in SPFT. Since that process erase the nvram partion, so your IMEI numbers as well, after flashing you also have to re-flash your original IMEI numbers with the SN Writer Tool.

I tried material status bar notifications a week ago to get ridd of the big 4G which worked. The app is to buggy though with a lot of irretating glitches. I mean you can't expect it to be like a xposed module like flat style bar indicators which is king in my opinion. To bad rovo from xda havent managed to crack the framework for xposed to work on Nougat yet. When Xposed work on Nougat i will be really hyped and happy about the upgrade, before that i will stick to Marshmallow which still have better functionality with root and xposed running on it.

\n\nHi I've founded some bugs in this beta release:

- Black bar in Whatsapp app when you try to send emojis and transparent area in bot when you try to include an emoji on a comment of picture for send.





- Calibration option in fingerprint settings not appear.


- Fingerprint sensor is reading when you are not touching it, works better than another versions but the bug persist. (I've returned to version 20160923 and works 100% so I think that is a software problem.)
- To finally I bring you two screenshots of the  battery duration. Well for one day of use but in Android 6.0 it had more hours of functioning.

Good stuff. So the scatter file matters even though you don't use any files from it when flashing custom recovery. I learned something new. I had my TWRP on since  ithe updated 3.0.2 version came out and always untick the recovery box when i flash new firmwares, easier that way.

(Előre elnézést hogy magyarul írok, ha valaki nem értené, de így könnyebben ki tudom magam fejezni)
Az előző bétát felraktam a telefonomra. és azt tapasztaltam, hogy az érintést nem érzékeli rendesen. (Nem oda kattint ahova koppintok)
Aztután visszaraktam a 20161121os ROMot, az rendesen működik mostanáig is, de ha a TWRPt, más custom ROMot, vagy a gyáriak közül a 20160616osat (ennél újabbal érkezett hozzám a telefon) rakom fel, akkor ugyan ez a hiba. A 20161121-es működik rendesen. (Meg talán ennél két-hárommal korábbival is, amivel jött)
Azt szeretném kérdezni, hogy ezt mi okozhatja, illetve hogy hogyan lehet megoldani, vagy hogy ez a béta vagy a stabil 7.0 fog-e működni a jelenség nélkül?

Pretty cool to see some progress. I'm still a noob when it comes to flashing phones and all that stuff so I'll just wait for the final version.

Restore from backup went wrong, so I have to install  ...

Root doesn't work for me.
All the apps are getting errors after root..

Please use Nougat compatible SuperSU, v2.78 or newer. There's absolutely no problem with rooting in this release.

It's highly recommended but in most cases you don't have to wipe your user data when updating without changing Android version.

Hi,

It's a flash tool ROM, you cannot install it from your phone, only via USB connection with the provided SP Flash Tool application.

If I am currently on Android 6 I guess I'll have to wipe user data. But will I have to wipe user data again when the final Nougat version is released?
