The WiFi hotspot/tethering works for as long you have a 4g network signal. If you have a 3g signal it will drop out after 15-20 seconds. I tried this yesterday evening so this might need to be addressed before the final release.
Please try to test the fast charging under 80% of battery level. The fast charging process should be able to provide a stable 12V/0.9A+ charging power. An almost fully charged battery doesn't make a proper environment to check that.
I thoroughly tested the Wi-Fi hotspot function with all Edge, 3G (HSPA) and 4G connections but it always works perfectly stable. I cannot confrim your statement, your issue seems not to be caused by the system software.
Wi-Fi I hotspot checking after. I reinstalled Android nougat but still not working after I back to android marshmallow Wi-Fi hotspot working and back to again Android nougat after Wi-Fi hotspot not working. That's meaning it wasn't be device ploblam. It. Software ploblam. And Bluetooth unstabal some time
Edited by Airosadri at 2017-1-23 04:24 \n\nHi I've founded some bugs in this beta release:
- Black bar in Whatsapp app when you try to send emojis and transparent area in bot when you try to include an emoji on a comment of picture for send.
- Calibration option in fingerprint settings not appear.
- Fingerprint sensor is reading when you are not touching it, works better than another versions but the bug persist. (I've returned to version 20160923 and works 100% so I think that is a software problem.)
- To finally I bring you two screenshots of the battery duration. Well for one day of use but in Android 6.0 it had more hours of functioning.
In regards of battery life: When you change the firmware you need more than one charge cycle for the battery to calibrate to optimise. I managed to get almost 9 hours SOT after 3 cycles and i dont consider that a bad result. Then you should also bear in mind that this is a beta.
