Charging speed.

I use the last , 170413 Android 7 version and i experienced the same as many users here. The original charger which is capable to charge the battery within 2 hours with Android 6, now it can chrage the same battery more than 8 hours.
I tried more cable, more charger but the result was the same. So i think this is a software issue instead of hardware.

As I informed you in other post umi max was never supplied with pump express charger only with 5V 1A charger. Unless seller decide to supply express pump or any other type of chargers.

For once,I agree with MarcinP.umi max was supplied with an ordinary charger.to fast charge the phone you will
need to purchase a Pump Express+ compatable one.you can get these through the authorised resellers.if you have
upgraded to Android 7,it will be hit or miss as to whether your device will fast charge.it seems that
some devices will,whilst others will not.

But nobody complaining about fast charging. The problem is that on Android 6 we can charge UMI MAX 2 (or more) times faster than on Android 7 with default charger.
And i check original charger today which still charge UMI MAX with 0,3A and other phones and devices with 0,9A. I think that there is some problem with configuration. Android shows that phone uses almost 0,3A on battery when screen is on so this is nothing unusual that it takes so long...

If you read from page 1 cr4sh85,fast charging is mentioned there.as for ordinary charging,my max charges 0-100℅ in four hours.this is the same time
as it took on android 6.there are bugs in the ROM though to do with charging.but I have never experienced the 8 hour charging time with a standard charger

Just because you havent experience it dosent mean many other users havent.

Folks!

I bought a simple 2A USB charger. This thing can charge the Umi 2-3 times faster than the original. It costs about 6$ in a local phone accessories store in my town. There was not any heating in the phone and the discharging is still same.
So, i recommend to you to buy a bigger charger.

Also latest android 7 for max is supporting pump express charging at 12V and around 0.7 - 0.9 A

As I read, that version has a lot of and serious bug. So, I have to wait until Umi fix those errors.
I'm glad to we get back the fast charging, this is a very big pro.

Dear friends,

After 3 week as i bought and use the new charger, the phone's battery management is back as normal.
Tha charging time is about 1-1.5 hour. The using time is almost 2 days.
So i am very happy.
Here is a proof.

My advice is for you: Go and buy a 2A charger.
