Hi all,

So after playing with the phone for a little while, it seems the clicking noise issue is actually quite a bit better. It still seems to be there every now and then, but much much softer. So it has gone from "unbearably bad" to "a little bit annoying". A step in the right direction!

I have not been able to install version 1.6 meduante Rootjoy. I had to use TWRP Recovery: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-543-1-1.html

update on Flyme OS on Iron:

1. Bluetooth working quite nice.
2. Phone does NOT crash when pluggin in headset. but: audio quality is only OK, not "good".
3. engineering mode does also work in Flyme OS!
4. The UMI Iron registers itself with "Meizu M2 Note" on Flyme OS. No wonder, the M2 Note has almost exactly the same hardware (despite only 2GB RAM). But: the Iron feels considerably faster than the M2 Note. Quite strange.

Audio quality via speaker is quite good, via headset ok for podcasts i would say...

I'm waiting for the OTA, but good to see that Flyme 4.5 is already available. I may give it a try later.

Great great great Rootjoy doesn't provide the Changelog unfortunately. I hesitate to install it

I do not see the icon out of h + only see 3g

I've installed TWRP so have to wait for 'Rom' section to be updated :/. Does anyone knows full changelog?

I don't think we'll get the full changelog until Monday. I'm just having a look through now after updating and it seems to be a minor update. The clicking noise is still present on headphones.

Pulsar_Star - How did you judge the "substantially" improved audio performance?
