Yes, in low light conditions if you don't let the flash LED work as an assist light for focusing. According to my experiences, the camera has difficulties in such low light conditions that are even unsuitable for proper photographing.

I'm afraid a such feature won't be applied. You can try to use a third party app to enable that function.

The feature existed in Android 4 and 5, so why not in 6?

That's not a general feature of any Android phones, just of some specific devices. I don't know a UMI model with that capability. You can try to use a third party app.

As far as I know, that's not planned. Only the current version will receive further updates.

A bit disappointing. Do hope this changes in the future. I am sure users of umi phones would appreciate upgrades to newer android versions.
