Any one here replaced their screen?

Hi guys,

Yesterday somehow my screen broke... i have no idea how, it was like i pushed to hard on the screen while typing. or is it the battery?

Anyway my question is:

Has anybody already succesfully replaced their screen? is it hard? is it worth it... because ordering a screen from china takes like 4 weeks to get here.
I want to buy a oneplus 3t because the Z pro has the worst roms and slow updates ever.

But besides that if someone ever did replace their screen tell me how it went, and maybe tell me which one you ordered.

no you need to remove the components.. And if you do it carefully you can remove without breaking it

Thanks for info.

I followed the tutorial and it worked out.
But the tape didnt really work well. So screen was loose at the top. So i tought lets put some drips of superglue under it. And it worked great.

Untill i saw it was under the hole of my selfie camera. Now i cant use it anymore lol.

Not sure what to do now.

You need to open the phone again and try to remove the glue, but superglue its not a good thing to use when replace screens. You should use double faced tape or a special glue for that.

hmmm, oke ! why is it not good?

Do you think i can remove the screen without breaking it.. i remember the broken screen was stuck and i had to break it even more to remove it...

Is it possible to remove the screen a bit without taking everything off?

Hmm oke i think about it !, i'm not gonna keep this phone for a long time anyway i think.

Worst phone/company ever.

But thanks for the advice ! and let's hope they'll ever release the source code so we can get a Custom ROM from decent developers.

Is there a difference for full reset display from Z to Z Pro? From what I see the specifications are the same. The only ones that are different is from z1 to Z1 pro correct?
