Umi Plus - Reboots when switching to Wi-Fi.

I have a Umi Plus, specifications attached:
I have been having an issue, even after multiple factory resets where the phone will suddenly do a soft reboot *takes abot 10 - 15 seconds*, sometimes several times in a row when I enter an area with open wi-fi, like a coffee shop or mall shopping center. My home wi-fi network does not display this issue, but only when I am entering into a new wifi area and I attempt to join their wifi network. Once I have saved the network to my phones wi-fi locations, it does this reboot scenario all by itself, and I have to get onto the phone and instantly turn off wifi in order for the behaviour to stop. Even driving through town, my phone will sometimes restart itself, seemingly because it's noticing open wi-fi networks and trying to connect to them? It's a very strange issue. I've been reading as much as I can through googling the issue, but I haven't come up with a solution, so I was wondering if anyone here as experienced this issue.

The problem is assosiated to the wifi.

i flashed back to marshmellow, but my flashing failed, now my umi plus is hard-bricked...

Tried it on another computer and it worked. Forever Windoof
But now i have the wlan problem again...

Having the same issue, but also in my own WLAN (Austria Region)

Isn't it bizarre? I have to turn off wifi when I leave the house. I haven't found a solution. I did another factory reset and I haven't installed any software at all. I'm going to go back to the same place again and see if it happens when the phone is bare bones stock configuration.

Firstly try exactly as in tutorial.
Then as follow please change from firmware upgrade to format + download.
After that you need check you IMEI numbers and if it's one's or two's you need restore using this tutorial

You can go to WiFi settings (settings - wi-fi - top right three dots - advanced - network notification off and go to keep wi-fi on during sleep never or only when plugged in.

doesnt work for me, doesnt connect my phone in SN Writer "Start searching preloader com port and handshake". And evry time when i connect the usb port in my pc windows says the usb device wasnt detectet

Have you vcom driver correctly installed?
Is your phone starting?
What happen after plug in charger?
Did you flash phone with SPFT?
Did you format + download with SPFT?
Because only after this steps you need use SN writer
