UMIDIGI C Note 2

After a wireless update of my new UMIDIGI C Note 2 it is not possible te switch on my phone. During the update the phone switches of automatically but
now i cannot switch on again. What can I do?

Hi,
You can't fix it, it's not a bug but simply the system is programmed this way. No doubt, it's a redundant and very annoying restriction. The developers already know about it, so hopefully a later update will give back the ability to change the default launcher.

The way Umi is handling this forum and the complaints show how they consider the importance of the users opinions. Not important at all I would say.

UMI OS is a mess, developer if you hear us please give us stock android like your other newly phone.

Also you can try hold power button for up to 15 seconds to perform hard reset.

Did you fix this? I've just received my Note 2 - and very disappointed that with UMI OS, you can not switch the home launcher. The UMI launcher sucks, and I much prefer Evie launcher..

Sorry, new question, but I can't make a new topic, so it has to go here.

I just got a brand new C Note 2, and I have two questions:

(a) There is a red light just to the right of the receiver (on the upper side of the screen, just right of center).  What is it?

(b) Where the heck is the back button?
