Version 1.6 is still not official.
Umi Iron is on sale at 50% discount.
Somehow I doubt we will see a version 1.7.

I still hope that the 1.7 coming and will fix many things. I still hope that a good MIUI 7 ROM coming also.
The 50% discount is a promotion and applied to all models. I don't think it is a bad news.

Hi !

A solution from a french guy on youtube... Go to Google Play and download the "favorites frequencies" APK.
Launch it , set frequency to 0  and volume to 0 and hit the "Start" button.
No more audio click but you have to do it everytime you reboot your phone.

Comments

Work fine, thank you! I'll look at how it affects battery life.  Post time 2016-3-16 14:46

I tested it and it drains my battery if I keep it running.
But the idea is nice.

I'll make an app that turn on the audio upon headset connection and turn off when disconnected.
So it will be automatic and conserve battery.

I hope I can do it in the weekend because this is a really simple app.

Hey Jo... thx 4 your answer

It's avoid the problem with the touch sounds but not fix it all. And we still got this annoying irritating painfull  "op" when playing music and videos.

Edited by rhen at 2016-3-19 00:41 \n\nMy clicking noise eliminator is reached the "Proof of Concept" state.
The service works like a charm.
Still things to do like a GUI to able to switch the headset service on/off. (I don't see the point to turn the service off, but I would like to give you the option)
This is a really little service. It consumes 4 MB RAM.

Keep your eyes on this thread for further updates. ;)

Beta version has been released.
I made a separate thread for it. You can find it here.
