Sadly, I don't think this phone will get any security updates...not to mention Android Pie

So we won't  get Android Pie for Z2 Pro. Can we get an official statement on this if there is plan to upgrade Z2 Pro to Android Pie?

This is one reason I sold my Z2 Pro way under the price it worths. No updates at all

Z2 PRO - PROBLEM WHEN CHARGINGFrom more than half month I have problem with my Z2 PRO - V1.0_20180823 - when I put the phone to be charged, the phone immediately switched off, I try to switch it on and again he switch off. This operation is continues and I have to leave it to be charged and after to switch it on.
Before it wasn't like that.

Please for support and advice.

please add the basic features on upcoming updates for umidigi z2 pro
1. instant face unlock     ( now it is we have to press the power button and swiping up the screen then only  unlocking the phone )  
2. in camera we need fast motion and slow motion video recording also add the AI sense mode  
3. if possible please unlock the camera2 api

finally we are expecting android pai update for our devices

It's a pity that they've stopped giving support to this model and that it will never see Android 9, it's a very good terminal.
No security or android updates means terminal no longer of use
Oh well R.I.P. Z2 Pro

Il telefono non si ricarica più! Inizialmente si ricariva in modo lento, adesso non funziona più la ricarica. Ho provato altri cavetti ed il caricabatterie di un amico che ha lo stesso telefono. Cosa devo fare?

Hello ,i am new to the forum and I can not start a new discussion, so I will write here.
The problem with my phone is the following - it is restarted at random.
At first I thought he was go hot and software shutdown the for for protection.
but it turned out that even if it was not heated, it restarted.

Hello,
I just bought a Z2 Pro and updated the smartphone as recomended throught WiFi...the phone works great until i received a phone call, answser it and the screen goes Black, i can talk to the person on the other side of the line (no problem there) but i cannot for example turn the speaker on, or turn off the call ... nothing but BLACK!! ... the same happens when i make a phone call, even using WhatsApp. I've already did the factory reset but the problem subsists.

Hello all. After 1 month of reboots now phone workс only  if plugged into charger. Disconnect from charger make him crazy and he start reboot and reboot . I have latest firmware update.
Please, I need some advice. I read about another firmware somewhere.
Is there an installation manual and does almost everything work without restarting the phone.
How to get rid of these constant restarts. I think the problem is with the phone battery or some sensor. The problem is massive but no one gives a solution.

I bought a UMIDIGI Z2 PRO over a year ago and this phone has been disappointing for me:
UMIDIGI does not pay attention to support. Since I have it, it has not published updates or security patches.
The phone system has run on Android 8.1
In my case, the USB port always showed problems, especially in audio playback on calls and they never offered me a solution.
There is an old proverb that says: "Cheap is expensive" and UMIDIGI is an excellent example of how bad a company can be
