I want to set fingerprint for my Z2 pro (newly bought on 5th Dec 2018) and its asking for PIN which i have not even set before.
How do i solve this issue so i can set up security for the phone.

Note : I have downloaded and install all the update immediately i received the phone before proceeding to setting up the security

for fingerprint setup you need to set the pin, password or pattern first after setting up new pin it asks again to confirm your pin after that only you can set up the fingerprint authentication.

I tried setting pin but its asking for PIN and i have not set it before so i don't the pin its asking for

Every Umidigi phone is send without any security activated  Definitely you set pin during first installation. Does your phone asking for pin during restarting?
Please perform factory reset from settings, if this is not possible please :
Power off your phone.
Press and hold the volume-up and power buttons together until your phone restarts. It needs about 10 seconds or a little bit less.

2. When your phone is restarted, immediately release the power button but still hold the vol-up button until you see a lying android figure with an exclamation mark in red triangle on its tummy and ‘No command’. If you rather get a Chinese text menu here, start from point 1 again.

3. Press and hold the power and vol-up buttons (in this order) together, then release first the vol-up button to call the recovery menu. Now you can move with the volume buttons and select an item with the power button.

4. Move to ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ and select it.

5. On the next screen move down to 'Yes...' and select it. Now your phone will be reset to its factory settings.

6. On the next screen press the power button again to reboot your phone.

My z2 pro now shut down when plugged to charger. It just started recently. Please what can I do to fix this problem.  Post time 2019-3-23 09:37

It seems I am not allowed to start a new topic so I am putting this one here. I have turned off location settings and bluetooth and I still lose 20% of the battery over night? Can anyone tell me what might be discharging the battery or is this another UMIDIGI surprise?

Hi user! In my Z2 Pro there is a new problem!
I can't see who called me when the phone ring.
Than the last upgrade I've lost the call screen.
Only when the phone stop to ring, for a call, I can find the caller ID on lost call page/screen.
Please let me know.

Please perform factory reset and test overnight. Probably one of apps causing such battery drain.

Please provide some screenshots and explain a bit more what exactly is happening.
Are you using stock apps?

lo he hecho varias veces y persiste cuando esta en 4G no me entran las llamadas
