actually the drivers in Windows 10 does not work, at least to me ... but I installed the ROM with Windows  7.....Everythink Ok ,until this time..

You just have to run the InstallDriver.exe file but you should be logged in as administrator or as a user with admin rights. Unfortunately I cannot check your system (phone, cable and computer) remotely, so I suggest you to ask an expert locally to help you.

The OTA update was pushed out and a bunch users have already received it (one of them reported his success here) but the developers found a serious bug in the OTA update, so they've suspended it until they fix it. Your phone is still usable with its original Android 6.0 system and anyway we still before 24th December. We are sorry for your inconvenience if there's any.

1. Missing translations are not related to this specific version, less or more but they were always present. You hardly can find any China made smartphones with perfectly translated UI in each language.
2. Just to make it clear, if you mean the dialer screen in the phone app, where you can dial phone numbers, I cannot reproduce your issue, not even if I set my phone to Russian language.
3. I also cannot confirm that, the mobile signal is less stable. Where can you see green and yellow colors, please?
4. A faster discharge can have multiple reasons: maybe an installed app has a different behavior (compatibility issue) under Android 7.0 or just the screen brightness settings work differently and they need to be adjusted. I suggest you to install a battery monitor app (GSam Battery Monitor for example), that can gice you detailed info about the battery usage.

The problem with the driver not on the side of Umi, but in Windows 10 .It is necessary to open the Device Manager to update the driver to manually select your android device and select MTP driver included with Windows 10th

• I started the phone out of the box to check if it was working (it started).
• I flashed TWRP_302_UMI_PLUS.V3.01_20161019.zip and did a nandroid backup
• I flashed UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.78-20160905010000.zip
• I installed AndroiTS GPS Test Free_v1.48.apk
• Even though it was able to see some satellites, there were no position for any of them, never. I gave up after about an hour.
• I then installed FasterGPS Fix from f-droid IT REQUIRES ROOT
• I selected my continent and country
• I uninstalled FasterGPS
  

Problem solved.
I had to apply from 2 to 8 again after I upgraded to Android N with the same result (a fast and working GPS).

Hello,

I've tried to update my UMI Plus accordingly to the first post.
The process went well and I get the green flag indicating success.
Since this time I'm unable to reboot my phone.
No LED when connecting and no power on.
Each time I try to flash it again I got the red bar then nothing during a moment and a memory error message 0xC0050005 (tried on Windows 7 and Windows 10): screenshot attached.

You're help and suggestions are more than welcome.

To translate, you can use beta testers. That you will not be considered cost anything but your products will be on the next level.

I can answer you for the 3rd question.
If you root your device, your device can't be able to receive OTA update.
