"Also, what should be changed with the software is the menu key. (On the left when you use real buttons, not the back button.) The menu key should be switched to the multitasking key (as this is now the Android standard)"
I was pointing out that for several times but no one listened.

You should flash this ROM with SP Flash Tool and your sound issue will probably be fixed forever.
About reassigning the buttons, check the following thread: http://community.umidigi.com/thread-3289-1-1.html
Google Now on Tap has been already replaced by Google Assistant.
If you need that, you can activate the ''OK Google'' feature in Settings --> Google --> Search --> Voice

Yes, I understood. Now you can use your voice, not the home button.

This is not Google Assistant but whatever. About the reassigning buttons, I can reassign the menu button but not the home button.

The only way I found till now is to edit build.prop (with root) and using software keys.

Hi
There is no any Android standards for physical or virtual buttons position or operation. So please stop pointing this case as you will not get solution which you expecting.
You need understand that every company is trying change something as you will never get all customer fully satisfied. Some companies using only virtual buttons, some only physical buttons, some using only one button with up to 4 functions, etc.
Some customers want get root access, some hate this, some want have extra physical buttons on side of phone, etc.
Is so many configurations which people expecting but nobody can handle this. That why you have so many companies offering different type of configurations and you need choose what you really want.
So please stop constantly asking for buttons configurations as nothing will change in this case.

Hi,

this last update completely messed up my phone.

Some issues I'm facing:
1. Notification bar black (as noticed by many)
2. My Gyroscope is crazy. When I unlock the rotate screen and turn my phone it never rotate back, and also in navigation mode it's  completely lost.
3. My sound speaker just stopped, it's not making any noise, I can hear just fine with headphones but no speaker.

Seriously, hope you guys can fix it ASAP. I'm looking for a rollback here, because the way it is, its really messed up.

Using the word please for several times in your case does not make you a polite person."Please" concentrate on solutions.
Bencebacsi has already offered us with one elegant way to solve that, look at the post #22.
Thanks Ben.

After the update and a long period of testing I can confirm worse GSM signal reception and occasional problems while reconnecting Bluetooth LE device (Garmin smartwatch). I live in a place where the signal reception is rather dodgy. I did have problems with occasional call drops even while using other phones, however after the update it is now much worse.
I haven´t performed factory reset or flashed the SPFT version of the ROM (and I don´t even plan to do so until A7), so I am not complaining, just reporting.
