Edited by DANIBOY77 at 2015-11-19 04:24 \n\ncheap products , efficient (at least powerful enough) , a forum dedicated to the task perfect, a Rom Flash application perfect, there in a few small areas for improvement , the passage of Emax to the rom lollipop is an evidence of good choice for the futur to umi... respect the specification devices promises ! For me , I bought thinking with lollipop, if the update does not come, game over umi !
but will be patient...

I guess they don't have it but I can ask them about that (for some leaked info) if you want.

If you get some Info let me know! I will get right at developing cyanogen for KitKat.

I do not care about legal rights with Mediatek or others, if UMI advertised eMax as having a Lollipop in the near future they just have to deliver it, end of story.

Instead of releasing worse smartphones every hour UMI should be worried on deliver what they promised when launched UMI eMax on Summer.

Shame on you UMI, the hardware is top notch (on eMax of course) for the price but with this kind of official support, leading costumers to a lie you should close doors in a flash.

Well I'm still trying to compile a working 32 bit Lollipop from the Lenovo K3 source code that I could port to our eMax, but I dont have any programming skills, nor a Lenovo K3, nor do I know wether the source code is complete or if this can even work.

Personally, I prefer rather whether that UMI makes a ROM lollipop, that to see coming a custom rom, even though they are often better , I would be consoled to see that UMI have a good response to this customers, and that I can spend my next purchase for this brand...

many of us look for the one that stands out with these cheap criteria, good products, good technology, and  good product support in the time (not 6 month...)

I'd rather recommend you to play with Witcher 3 on your PC, but if you prefer playing with lollipop codes, that's still OK of course.

So... I guess the discussion is done? No new news from Umi bencebacsi? I guess we gotta wait till next year around this time for when Mediatek will release the source for our beloved 6752..

Holzi. If you would like to send me the source you've been working on. I can try and continue to work on it. I'm just not sure if a 64bit phone will be able to run 32bit (it should but.. Not 100% sure)

No news about eMAX lollipop from UMI. I can't even get an answer about this anymore. This situation is more than awkward since
1. this phone has a 64-bit processor built-in, abviously designed for Android lollpipo or newer systems
2. this phone is still being sold by resellers
3. this device is still the highest performance smartphone in UMI's portfolio but the only one running the old kiktak system.

I don't understand your concern about 32-bit sourcecodes since the running kitkat still contains 32-bit codes.
