You can flash your phone with SPFT under Download option and with user data unchecked.

OK, I'll give it a go and let you know.

Cheers,

So it has been a few days since reflashing the rom and wifi has been solid. I'd recommend trying this if you are having problems.

Thanks for the advice.

Cheers

how can i turn off the camera sound?

Depending what exactly you asking for :
Camera shutter sound
Open camera - top right icon - slide to camera settings - slide up, last setting is for shutter sound.
Microphone in camera app/video recording
Go to camera - top right corner - slide to video settings - microphone

I think this fixed background apps and WiFi problem in one go....
Go into development options (you can Google how)
Go to background app limit and change to 4, come out and then go back in and set to standard limit.
Me thinks a default value of "kill all background apps" is being assumed by Android OS and that the data field has been left empty.
Please come back to me if this worked for you.
P.s.
In network and internet - data usage - network restrictions, mine were set to "metered" WTF!

Hi, Sorry I posted it here, but I can't create a new thread...

I can't add a new APN or edit an existing APN.

All settings related to APN are greyed out.

At the moment, I can't use date on the A1 Pro with my data SIM card.

I have followed 2 methods:
1) Network and Internet -> Mobile Network -> [Carrier] --> Access Point Names
2) This guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com ... 21&postcount=14

For method 1, I can not create a new APN or edit the existing APN as the settings are greyed out.
For method 2, it opens the "new APN" screen, but nothing can be entered, as the settings are greyed out.

Can you please tell us how to edit the settings for APN?

Thanks!

Are you sure you only have one "account" setup on the phone and are not using it as a "guest"?  The first thing I did with the A1 Pro was setup the APN settings to work with my sim card.  Greyed out items typically mean "no access" but the only reason for that would be if for some reason it thought you were not the "owner" of the phone and using a restricted account so not allowing you to make changes.

We had only one same complaint but that was from Canada and eventually we found that the network carrier was not allowing to change or write new APN.
So please put your sim card in to different phone and try edit or add new APN.
Otherwise please contact to your network carrier technical support and ask for new APN configuration over SMS and ask do they locked your sim card to not change or edit APN.
