I'm still trying to persuade UMI about the importance of this lollipop upgrade, even if that cause ...

Thanks for the aclaration. I thought that it was a hardware problem, but if it's for economical reasons it does have a solution.
I will keep hopeful about this upgrade, I like this phone and I would like to see it running lollipop.

It is not that they do not want him to do but the fact that they fooled us all three times it is bad.

I agree to the above.
I like my Umi Emax, but if there won't be any updates i can't recommend umi phones to my friends and family.
Nor would i buy another one myself.
It would proof the company's reliability if they would support current phones, in stead of putting new ones on the market. It may cost them some money, but will get them satisfied customers in the end.

I also can't do anything but agree with alex161112. On the other hand, I still recommend this phone for those familiars who don't care about a lollipop upgrade but value the all-purpose good performance and the extraordinary long battery life.

very good phone, stop criticizing so much
if you participate in the forum is that you find an interest, but that you are disappointed by not respecting official announcements

umi made very good phone but is not scincere
I will take out the mini Emax but I am traumatized by the trading cheating lol

Well this phone may not be quite as good value as some of you state:

The fact is UMI made a big promotional push when selling this phone from the off that Lollipop would be available shortly, + many people (in fact nearly everyone) has experienced ghost touches which UMI have failed to address or respond to in any shape or form. Many people have been let down by the camera quality as well as originally being promised a 4G band which never existed! To top that off although I am happy with the battery life they should have just been honest from the start and stated 3500mah also....taking all this into account and the fact the the new Iron also has reported issues that aren't being address how can people have faith in the UMI brand? If UMI don't use their own forum to try and help the public (their future business effectively) it is deemed for failure........Basically SLOW DOWN ON THE NEW MODELS and put a little bit more into the promotion and improvement of existing products. Keep your customers happy and they will recommend to others and return in the future!!!

"many people (in fact nearly everyone) has experienced ghost touches..." - That statement is quite a bad joke.
Other issues are real but some of them are exaggerated. I wrote here many times about the reasons of the canceled lollipop upgrade, the list of the available 4G bands was corrected quite early and some phones of other brands with this SoC also were affected by the promised but missing b20 band. The capacity of the battery should be measured in laboratory. The rated capacity is not marked on the battery but (as you admired) you're happy with its performance. Me too as probably almost everybody. Who cares about the painting on it if you get what you desired?
Moreover, which mobile phone is perfect? Even the best models of the greatest brands have issues.
iPhone 6 problems
SGS6 problems
I mention the camera finally since I attached some pics I captured with my eMax recently. Okay, they're average, but why would you call them terrible?

Sorry for the old lady in swimming dress.

The lollipop option was removed from the adds quite a long time ago. Of course, that doesn't change ...

The lollipop upgrade is still being advertised and hasnt been removed from most of the sites selling the phone

Edited by casasjuan at 2015-10-17 00:03 \n\nToday if left to support a relatively new terminal by the manufacturer will run like wildfire bad reputation on the web, and much more if you have all promised that lollipop for our Umi Emax . I've been to forums where they do not want to hear about Umi .

It is a very good smartphone but Better for Umi put the batteries with their problem lollipop in Emax or your brand will be seriously touched on the web as happened to LG with its first terminal , because it cost sweats back tears buyers trusted in him.

Lg is a powerful brand and got fit the blow, but Umi is not, customers wolves will turn against her, and the new reviews and comments from the forums lynched if not removed at the end lollipop, it will bring more features out that the losses that will result in very bad reviews of their customers.

Traders are simply too lazy to update their adds. You still can see the line "Phonebook: 500 names" in a huge load of Android phone adds, although there's not a single Android phone on Earth that is limited to store only 500 entries in its phonebook. At least that lazyness shouldn't be the responsibility of UMI.
