Unfortunately the GPS does not work on nougat beta ..

Next hope is PLUS E, maybe they changed something in antenna design / positioning / not using combo GPS + WiFi again or using a better one.

Or different design main board because of SoC change.

Or new SoC is somewhat better at it, lets wait and see how that one turns out.

Hi, my UMi plus has the same "jumping GPS issue" I am tired of the suggestion to use offline.
Any real promise that this can be fixed?

Hello everyone,
Until now I had only used GPS in situ. This morning ballad and use of the app "My itinerary". So there the pompom! Look at what my itinerary gives!
Has anyone been able to set the GPS for an UMI Plus?
I looked on the internet, root the smartphone ... I found only topic in English and I do not understand everything ... I need a little help

Always the same problems on ALL Umi devices.
No solution for me!
no answer or corective actions frm Umi!

I tried Google Maps navigation yesterday again (in my car), which didn't work at all before a few weeks Permanently trying to lock gps position. A few days ago there was a minor UMI update, not sure if this has something to do with the success test yesterday. I suddently worked. I didn't try to aquiere the gps position every 10 second. Sometime it's a little bit off the track, which tells that the accuracy still isn't perfect, but the way it worked yesterday is absolut useable.

Not sure what's going on here. Will be testing more in the next few days.

Hi,
I have been experiencing the same (better) behaviuor with Google Maps, after a factory reset and minor firmware update.
Unfortunately using other navigation app, like Sygic or Waze, the precision is still very low, loosing signal often.
