I remember the original add and the promise of the lollipop upgrade has been removed. What you can still see there is a general prospectus about Rootjoy that is not related specifically to eMax. That talks about just UMI (generally) and UMI Zero at a place. I've attached the original (removed) picture here. On the other hand, I agree with that, UMI should remove all lollipop logos and screenshots from that advertisement.

Well, I think that our emax is a great phone, in fact if UMI never promised the lollipop upgrade everybody would be happy with their phone because it is a very good one.
But anyway, they promised it and they couldnt give it in the end, and this is an important issue.

I don't have any idea about the problems that avoid us to get the lollipop upgrade, because I am just a normal user that doesn't know how a phone or a ROM works, honestly. So I hope that nobody laughs at me for this question, but would like to know if this same issue will avoid that we get other upgrades (such as the next android 6) or we could eventually get it.
I don't think that UMI lied to us, they just tried to give us the upgrade but they couldn't do it for technical problems, so I think that they owe us something good in exchange for those "false promises".

I'm still trying to persuade UMI about the importance of this lollipop upgrade, even if that causes unexpected loss, since they're risking their good reputation now. However, I'm also just a simple user.
Of course, the hardware itself is able to run Android 5 or 6 or any version, so this case is not about technical issues but unreasonable economical strategies.
