When the system finishes downloading the file, it should display a notification with an option that reads "Reboot and apply update" or similar. After pressing that, it should reboot and do the update by itself.
If the notification isn't displayed, you can go to the update manager (as always, in Settings > About Phone) and it will show the update as "downloaded". From there you can trigger the update by clicking on it, which will reboot and apply as well.
The downloaded updates usually are in a folder called "cmupdater" in sdcard.
BUT, if the extension is "part1" that probably means it wasn't downloaded properly. In case of doubt you can always download the zip and flash it manually as always.
