[DISCONTINUED] CyanogenMod 12.1 (for TCL M3G / converted eMAX Mini)

Hi! Thanks for R7 Varotone! : )

It was my first ota update, never did any on any of the phones I've owned.

It dowloaded the file, but then I didn't know what to do next. I've download the rom 2 times. I've done some searching online, and I found the folder. The files and "part1" as an extension - it was someting .zip.part1. I've renamed it to .zip only, and I'm now flashing the rom via twrp.

How's does ota updates work? What should I've done?

If you like to control the cpu governors and quite in depth if you wish, I recommend the Kernel Adiutor app.
If you set cpu governor on performance, or, if you set at the LITTLE cores the minimum speed equal to the maximum speed then no cores in big cores will be parked.
Of course, this has a great negative impact on battery life.

When the system finishes downloading the file, it should display a notification with an option that reads "Reboot and apply update" or similar. After pressing that, it should reboot and do the update by itself.
If the notification isn't displayed, you can go to the update manager (as always, in Settings > About Phone) and it will show the update as "downloaded". From there you can trigger the update by clicking on it, which will reboot and apply as well.
The downloaded updates usually are in a folder called "cmupdater" in sdcard.
BUT, if the extension is "part1" that probably means it wasn't downloaded properly. In case of doubt you can always download the zip and flash it manually as always.

Thanks Varotone!

I went to updates and it downloaded the rom, but after that nothing happened. Because nothing happened I downloaded the rom 2 times. After I found both downloads on the cmupdater folder, and realize the size of the roms were the same of the original, I've renamed it and flash it with twrp. It worked fine, everything is working fine, I guess. Next time I'll know how it should happen, thanks. : )

\n\nHey Folks, yesterday i tried to convert / flash my Phone with QFIL to TCL M3G... but when i set my Phone to download mode and start download on QFIL, it´s abort the action instead with a message: Download Fail, switch to EDL fail. Failed to switch to emergency download.. Anyone knows that problem ??? Port 9008 is ok... means connection to my Phone is available... Now i´ll try to flah LEWA with QFIL, but don´t know how..! Need some Advice..
