You can switch between the headphones and the speaker in some apps (FM radio for example), but there are no settings to do that generally, there have never been on any smartphone.

On some mediatek phones it's possible to do in the engineering mode

You can set the output levels of different output sources there, but not all settings are effective. You can't switch between active audio devices in the engineer mode.

After this firmware was installed my screen became several pixels smaller for each of 4 sides (constantly black). How can I fix that?

What can you say about this problem?
With latest firmware my screen became less by 5 pixels on each side.

Hey there Umidigi team and Forum Users, i have a really importend question wich i havent got Answered yet.... sadly
So, is the Umdigi S2 getting Android 7 and/or 8?
I bought the Phone because it said: "Android 6.0/ Android 7.0" so i thought: "Oh, so it comes with Android 6.0 but you can update it to 7.0" wich was not the case sadly.

Can you please reply to my question, it would really make me happy.

Hi,

Actually I answered that question many times. Since the pre-sale of the S2 started (so from the date when it was first possible to order it), on the official products page or anywhere in our advertisements, UMIDIGI has never promised an Android version upgrade for this model. The required development kit from MediaTek is missing. In an early state, before the manufacturing had started, we promised a different variant of this phone with Andorid 7 but finally that has become the S2 Pro. Currently that's still not possible to release an android version upgrade for the S2, that's not about our decision.

I got a problem with "Optimizing App 1 Of 1 " , how can i fix that ?
