What about other brands that have no notification like this? Do they risk "google certification"? Don't think so...

Anyway, will we have an update for Z2 pro? What are these "System developers" working on?

This nfc notification does not exist on the One pro.

Just bought the phone and I love it, problem is I bought this particular phone especialy for the NFC feature that I had on my previous phone and used a lot!

This notification is a pain in the ass. Always there and on top of every other notification.

I didnt have this problem on my too last phone. I suspect its a bad programming issue, there should be an icon on the status bar when NFC is on and instead in the Z2 pro its a notification.

If at least we could turn on and off NFC in the pull-down menu that would be less of a problem but we cant.

Please UMIDIGI do something, change this notification into an icon like any other phone.

I just got my Z2 Pro today. Checking the settings when you slide the "Touch to view settings details" I see "Notifications from this app can't be turned off"... which I am sure everybody who has read this thread knows. It is annoying, but I see it as a security issue more than anything else.

This is a problem for me. It's odd that it wouldn't be an option in the quick settings.
My 2-year-old OnePlus 3T that I replaced with the Z2 Pro had this ability - the tile could be added to / removed from the quick settings. Having to fish around in the other settings or do a search for "NFC Settings" is really bad implementation.

I cannot connect my z2 pro to android auto. I am getting a USB connection error. Replaced usb cable twice, still not working. Also fails to connect when only using bluetooth without a cable - same error msg. NFC USB setting defaults to charging instead of file transfer mode. Could this be the issue? If so, how do I default to file transfer permanently? Please note that my wife's phone connects to android auto without an issue (Moto G4 phone).Thanks for the help.

My problem is that nfc and tap and pay are not working. Ive tried to do all the tips. Could it be a faulty nfc chip? Any way to see if nfc works?
