Edited by Dudulle at 2017-7-26 15:19 \n\nFaites gaffe si vous avez un Plus E.

Post d'origine:
So, to continue the story, here's what happened with me in the last few weeks:

- I turned off my phone (it was ~50%), put it back in its original case and stopped using it for a while
- I ordered a new battery from ebay.
- The battery arrived in good conditions, so I decided to give the phone a try (since you all are talking about a new OTA) before replacing the battery. After all, it might turn out to be a software problem.
- I opened the case, got my phone, and was surprised to see it getting super fat (Yup, you read it right "SUPER FAT"). The ON/OFF button was stuck, but I managed to click it, and nothing really happened!

- I decided to open it myself. There was the tiny warranty piece of paper on one of the screws, but I don't expect banggood or UMIDIGI to help anyway (Even if I send them back the phone and wait for them to give me a new one, it's gonna take forever, like it took them the first time to deliver it.. Therefore, I removed it and opened the phone.

- Guess what.. the battery was the thing that got fat. I bet no one saw that coming! And I also bet the battery was eating rats when I go to sleep at night!

- Obviously I managed to replace the battery successfully, and put everything back to its place. Except the minor scratches I got on the two small holes where you start removing the two plastic pieces of the back of the cover.

- The phone works fine now. I installed the new update successfully.. The battery I bought had like 60% charge. I am charging it now, but I am feeling the phone getting a bit hot. I will test it and let you know what happens.

However, I have one last request for UMIDIGI, and hope they provide a convincing answer: You said in the website description (picture below, and link here) that the battery is a SONY 4000mAh one, however, I can tell it's NOT a Sony battery (but rather some random Chinese unkown brand).  Are you sure your fast charger is good for this battery? Don't you think it's the reason why the battery gets damaged?

To be honest, I think what is damaging the battery, is this so-called fast charger. Please let me know if you have really tested it well before releasing it. Otherwise, I'd rather use a UMI Super charger or something. Better having your phone charging in 3 hours than damaging it.

(P.S. Please do not remove this reply.. it took me a while to write, and I want people to discuss what I am talking about seriously. Thanks!)
