Umi Super ROM V7.01_20170803 installed via OTA. All seems to be OK after install.
- digital print security for fingerprint scanner is not lost
- mobile data connection seems to be better
- screen reactivity seems to be good too
I Performed a wide cache partition after install.
Need to test for few day for battery drain and others stuffs ...
I'm currently running eragon which is a custom rom ported from the elephone 9000. It's the best rom i used so far on the super and has really good battery life and runs everything stable.
Link? Found one thru XDA, but not sure it's the most current. Also - Is there a SPFT version or just for TWRP (the one I found looks like a TWRP ZIP)?
It went from stable to less unstable. Your guess is as good as mine. I might finally leave the umi brand and try new ventures. Theres devices in the same pricerange with less issues.

I just read in the rom section that this never been a issue in the 20170123 version (according to Admin Bencasi) @ Mats. I guess it was all just a dream huh?

Yeah, all just a bad dream. Unfortunately, this latest release doesn't seem to have wakened me up, since BT is still at the top of the list of battery consumers, and I'm looking at about 24 hours between charges. Far from the >72 hours I had when the phone was new.
