Hi guys had the phone two weeks now and loving it apart from a couple of problems, I can't get 4g anywhere, it's supposed to be supported, all the reviews I read said it was but can just get 3g, my old phone got 4g in the same places.

Also another little problem is my data connection sometimes goes off, and I don't mean it turns itself off via the data connection, it says it's connected but I can't get any data, if I turn aeroplane mode on and off I get data agin, this happens once a day.

Edited by add at 2017-3-2 14:11 \n\nI am in Germany Berlin, big city. I was on the provider E+ but O2 has bought it up. So we have a big LTE/4G coverage but my phone looses that 4G to 80% of the time. Wehn i restart the phone it gets back to 4G but after a while it looses again. And also the GSM-telephone connection looses connectivity. As soon as a move the phone 20-30cm to another position it comes back. WTF. So there is a serious connection problem with this smartphone. I also have a Samsung S4 and it works flawlesly.

Exaclty the same problem as you but in France, where my previous had no problems at all...And it's been like that since the very first day.
Most of the time I get disconnected several times during a phone call if I'm moving, that's very annoying.

My display read 4G most of the time, then again i don't venture out into the 1 - 2 G holes that there is plenty off here in little old Denmark.
For the most i just go between my home town of Randers and down to Aarhus 35 Km south of here ( that's the #2 largest town here )

I did have some data issues on a drive a while back, but i also think i have resolved that issue, but i cant go to the same place and test before the new body for my little truck are ready for its maiden drive.

It just is not right that UMi does not express. In Europe you would have simply exchanged the telephone or you would get his money back.
The phone is in the current state only to play to use.

The Umi Z doesn't seem to pick up the APN settings automatically, so they need to be set manually. I was stuck on 3G until I did this, after which my phone switches between 3G and 4G as the available signal allows.
