Status bar showing 4g multiple times

Hi,

I dont know why the status bar is showing 4g written so many times. is there a way to hide one of them? Given that this is a nearly stock android, you dont see it like this on stock rom.

The second little "4G" is for the data. I guess it's meant to show us quickly if data is enabled or not.

Ya seems so.  It would be great to hide some of them just like majority of the rom - an important suggestion umi should think about.  It just looks ugly having duplicates.

Other guys are fully correct. This icon if for data indicating.
A lot users will not confirm your issue as most people want know is data on or off. If you don't want this icon please switch off data if you not using on short cut list or in settings.

I completely understand that its important to see data connection and i can see it on top the signal bar but why is there another 4g (in red) written next to the signal bar? See picture

Ok so now you talking about bigger 4G sign.
This is indicator of in which band you are actually as you can have one or two bars or max etc. but this is important in which band you are as then you have different phone calls quality and different data transfer.
There is no other explanation.
I don't have umi z yet but you can try activate system UI tuner and then switch off this icons.
To activate system UI tuner you need
Slide down top bar (shortcut list)
Press and hold gear icon on top right corner until start turning (around 5-10 seconds)
Then you should get information that you have activated system UI tuner
Go to settings
System UI tuner
Status bar
Mobile data
Off

Hey thanks.  Seriously cool trick,  one that i didn't know.  However,  when i do turn off mobile data it hides the signal bar as well.  Why is the big 4g sign and sign bar combined? I tried installing a few app which can the status bar but im reality it just draw over the default one and looks very bad.  Anyway i suppose its built into the rom.  I am just surprised i have never seen this before in last 3 years of using android on htc one and Samsung  s6.

I was just going to ask about the possibility to rearange the system icons.

This feature should not be hidden but regulary available for the users.

By the way, the developers haven't still associated correct icons for data connection, battery saver, smart pause and agoldkwnavtile (?)

I use an xposed module called flat style bar indicator which allows you to modify the status bar to your liking.

You need to be rooted though and install xposed framework for this particular modification to be possible.
