Umi - Emax has no sound when calling or receiving

I can answer the phone but can't hear anything, no dialtone when ringing either.
Videos and music play fine from the speakers.

It was ghosting a few weeks back, deleted some apps but now this is the new problem

I can also hear people when I phone them via whatsapp so it's even stranger but I have to put them on speaker phone
