Hey!

With android 8 we cannot see the battery percentage in status bar per default: we just have a big icon not very convenient. I tried to reactivate the percentage using System UI Tuner (from the settings), an application from the playstore called System UI Tuner too, an adb command (adb shell settings put system status_bar_show_battery_percent 1) and 2 battery percentage enabler applications but it still doesn't work. I don't understand because I can use System UI Tuner to remove wifi icon for example, but it doesn't work with battery percentage.

Thank you,
Thomas

Just want to voice my opinion that if you are not going to have a general Troubleshooting thread where Umidigi monitors and addresses issues reported by its customers, it is extremely bad business practice to enforce a rule that states we need a certain number of points before we can launch a thread of our own and get the best use from our devices.
By the time I rack up enough points, the brief period during which returns are permitted will expire!
I had high hopes Umidigi would have an active community forum like Mi's. Sad to see such little activity here and even less (if any) monitoring of threads by the manufacturer.

It is so difficult to find a case for one pro. I also can not make new topic.
Administrator pls hel ...

don't why user can't create new topic, everyone need to jump to this thread to voice their issue, anyway i got umidigi one, after the wireless update: current UMIDGI_ONE_V2.0_20180815_20180903-2051 the call in volume is very low, i need to install a third party app just to increase the handset volume. before the update is call in volume is ok.

Battery percentage settings working for drop down status bar.

It's true but it's much less ergonomic than seeing the percentage directly.

I can only suspect that the percentage is removed from there to give more space for other notifications.

yeah i wish the percentage was in battery like other phones and or roms to pull down is really annoying it would be nice if we could get more control of pull down bar or notch was better implemented . so far . i do enjoy phone usa user here. only grip is camera software its . too simple i guess wish had more options but (THANKYOU for fixing EIS brightness its now usable)  and it should have come with a clear case any chance for a clear case in future?

Hi, definitely we will be not producing transparent case but maybe some third party supplier does.

Opinion: Looking at the battery percentage in the menu bar every time to see it drops fast is stressful. But yea the more options the better

unfortunitely I can't seem to make a new thread so maybe someone can help me with that, I have 2 issues with the One Pro:
- when trying the stereo option in the camera app, the app crashes and after can't seem to open the camera anymore
- how the hell can I remove the search bar from the home screen?? I can disable the google app, but it will just replace the google search bar by a generic search bar which does not do anything, I never ever use the search bar or search function at all, so its just taking up space...
Thanks
