¡Thread to report problems with Android 7.1.1!

Problems with Android 6.0:
- Small signal WiFi, 3G and 4G
- Sensors .. Every time I wanted to hear an audio from WhatsApp was starting to blink the screen


Problems with Android 7.1.1:
- When in the notification bar the background turns completely black (at the bottom) and should not be so, I would have to see the background of the application I'm in.
- Problems continue with 3G and 4G
- I have to disable the WiFi twice in a while, otherwise it will not close
- Incompatibility with some applications that if it had to be able to use, like Google "Contacts" and Google "Phone".
- RAM increases from 1.5 to 2.1 in a few seconds. I do not know why that happens, the only applications I use is WhatsApp and Google to read news .. but no more than 10 minutes I use them
- The App Camera Stock setting appears with the settings: "8" mp for the back and "3" mp for the front (can be set to the highest values).


Additional Information:
- I use the Nova Launcher Prime (5.2) and I have better performance on the battery (Reach with 33% on the second day) This is because I use the Smartphone just to listen to music, read news and use WhatsApp.
- Animations are much faster, clearly for being Android Nougat (but this stands out).[%

Good that I stayed with Android 6.
Because the Z Pro is not my first smartphone of this brand,
I'm always careful with updates and wait for the first time.

Hey UMIDIGI, stop the development of new devices as long as the already sold devices still have so many problems.

Have you ever tried to understand how you feel as a UMIDIGI customer.
Great promises are made and with super specifications you apply your devices.
Then the customer gets his device and determines that some works not as it was described by you.
Instead of fixing these errors quickly, you are already developing the next device and making a lot of advertising in advance.
As a customer, I feel left alone and in part lied and fooled.
Take a little time and think about it.

After upgrading my Z Pro to Android 7.1.1, my Camera App simply doesn't work! That means, I can't take pictures anymore (as bad as they could be)! I tried another Camera Apps (from Play Store), but the problem persists.
Another problem is the worse gaming performance. I like to play the game DEFENDER III. But, after upgrading, this game is showing a constant lag occurrence. Every 10-15 seconds I have a little lag when playing. Another problem with new version: my LTE connection is unstable, downgrading from 4G to 3G or even losing the connection completely. These are the problems I've encountered so far. Taking advantage of the topic: How do I go back to the previous version of Android (6.0.1)?

You can try flashing ROM Stock 6.0 by FlashTool and then try again by updating by OTA ..

\n\n1. Battery apps report incorrect numbers for the current. For example, it shows 13000mA when it is supposed to show 1300mA.

2.Adding or changing device languages in the settings results in the settings app crashing.

EDIT: Number 2 does not seem to crash anymore, I guess a reboot fixed it.

Installed the Android 7.1.1 OTA today after i received the notifcation that it is available and a had many reboots (10+) in the first day...!!!
Any suggestions/Solutions?
I did not had any problem before the OTA update/upgrade

First post and a Android user (5 years) but not techi so please be gentle with me.

I have had my Z pro for about a month and been very happy with it until Wednesday when I was offered and carried out the OTA to Nougat. I am based in the UK and a Vodafone pay monthly customer

Problems
1) Data/Internet - CRITICAL - connectivity immediately after reboot I can connect to data (4g/3g) fine but as soon as I either move (assume to a different cell) or if I enable wifi, I am unable to connect to 3g/4g and I have to reboot to get my data connection back.

2) Location - ANNOYING - I have to turn location off and on after reboot to get location.

I have cross checked the Vodafone APN settings which appear correct (and as it works after reboot seem to confirm this)

Any help on resolving the problems in simple non techie speak please?

I have to reboot the phone to turn of data

and the black notification bar, its the only bugs i found yet

My biggest problem to date is that the phone e is eating up the battery much faster... I used to get 3 days from a single charge and now it gives me 2 days...

Filling

The biggest problem for me is that the phone freezes when locking the screen. Like every ten time i lock it. Have to restart it to get it working again. Every time i start the phone, whats app notify me that the phones clock is wrong. And every now and then when i'm in a call, the prone reeboots. So, the phone is pretty much useless to me after the update.
