I have a UMI PLUS , and lived on Panama, Is there any way to unlock this band in the UMI PLUS, or will there be any present or future models that manage it? ... It was a very requested suggestion for UMI PLUS E, but they did not take it into account, like some others, but it would be nice to know, if these mobiles do not contemplate this band (LTE APT 700Mhz (Band 28)), Central and South America, and if they are an option for these regions, or just discard these models !!

The UMI PLUS its a great phone , but not work 4G LTE Band (LTE APT 700Mhz (Band 28)), in my country, I feel that it is an important restriction to develop more UMI brand, but if UMI is not interested in doing so, we must continue to buy products with large specifications in books, but with huge operational restrictions compared to other brands in the market (eg, Elephone S7, Xiaomi M5, etc.).

Ok Mrs MarcinP. thanks for this info, this is a HUGE restriction, at now , Your UMI brand, show us (announced)  "the UMI Z", another "flagship" to the 2017, with the the super power (Helio x26, 4GB, etc, etc, etc) without having even launched the "UMI Plus E" to the hands of its owners, this is already very normal market policy in the UMI brand, and it is something for many WE HAVE NOT ACQUIRED, the "UMI PLUS E", despite the failed promises made In the UMI PLUS.

What is the point of launching a worldwide mobile phone, with LTE capabilities (cat 4, 6, 9), if it does not handle the bands most used worldwide by region and market that offer these technologies ...... Launch a powerful but restrictive cell phone In its use of capabilities, is not what I would call a Flagship or Flagship killer, if even, in its new models prevail the same restrictions (LTE Bands insufficient, GPS Unnacurate, OS android upgrades with many bugs - ex. Battery Drain, etc, etc, etc) .... Please take care of this for the sake of your brand.

I love my UMI PLUS, but neither invest in a one-sided relationship, where the client receives the worst part

Hi
I fully understand your frustration but I am not working in marketing department so I don't know really what, when and why new device will be announced. Sometimes I scratching my head too to understand what is happening. As you know umi devices are sold already nearly to every country on the world so umi needs to be thinking about everybody. Maybe some functions /futures are not working for you but in other side of the world could working fully correctly. Is very hard joined all customers wishes in to one device in so low price. There could be some option to making every second device for America and another for Europe etc but I presume that this option could be to expensive.
Only what I can say sorry for any inconvenience from UMI.
Regards MarcinP
I am here to try find solution for some umi devices faults.

Thank you Mr. MarcinP, but it is not something that only needs ME! , Or to meet my needs, this band LTE Band 28 APT (700Mhz) is used in USA, Mexico, Latin America, Central & South America, and that is closer to Everybody.

If the correctness of the assertion that they are to correct the errors of the devices, that would have to have been translated in that YA should have been corrected the GPS errors, Camera poor Quality, and the recommendations of the users taken into account (like mine And many) since the launch of the SUPER / PLUS ... and so far they are the same
