Mokee and CM12.1 latest builds for TCL M3G - so I guess. : )

Found a newer build of Mokee rom for TCL M3G, but I could not find any info about it, or a change log. I'm trying it, but didn't notice any changes or improvements, everything is working as usual – the led is not fixed.

I was reading the russian forum – http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=671974&view=findpost&p=46814118 -, translated to english, and someone posted a new cm12.1 version – cm-12.1-20151217 UNOFFICIAL-Q39. When I was trying to know more about it, I've found a newer Mokee build.


I've uploaded both roms to google drive, so it's easier for everybody to download them:

I myself am working on cm12.1 builds. Seeing as the chinese folks on Loorin and TCL BBS (who did the device bringup) aren't really keen on updating their ROMs, I will begin uploading my builds soon, hopefully a bit more updated that those you can find in Loorin or TCL BBS.
P.S.: For some reason, users in these forums really like LEWA and MIUI, since they publish builds for those every week or so, but I can't understand why there is no love for CM.

I read your comments on the LED and have since confirmed that the fix does not work, that's a shame but I'll work on it now that I'm building my own ROMs.
As of CM13... the future isn't very bright. I tried (didn't really put much effort, let's be honest) and ran into some issues that could only be fixed by upgrading the kernel. Since we have no kernel sources, that's very hard/impossible to do. There may be some workarounds but I am fairly new to android development and I just can't fix cm13 myself. Let's hope somebody more knowledgeable than me does it!

CM is popular in the U.S. and Europe (for example) and the 'Asian folks' like their MIUI & LEWA, it's just a case of personal preference and 'to each their own', I guess. ;)

Thanks @varotone! Sorry for posting TCL M3G roms here, and I completely understand your thoughts on this issue. I just wanted to share them so anyone can try, because I'm had an hard time finding those. The link to your thread is not working, but I've found it. I do visit that Spanish forum, and I've already tried and comment on your led fix. I didn't notice any differences, but it's great to have someone trying to fix that really annoying issue. I followed your great guide to change my emax mini to a tcl m3g. : )

Thanks for all your work, and it's great to see someone dedicating some time and effort to provide updated roms to our device. I don't want to be rude, but any chance of cm13?
