Change Telephone default app

Hi, please, how can I change the telephony app from default to the Google Telephony App? My SMS don't show the contact but the number, despite the contacts exists in my Google account contacts.

I tried but I didn't can as seen in picture. Please, can someone help me? Thanks. Regards.

Firstly please install app, then go to stock messaging app, top right three dots, messages settings, default SMS app. Also please copy all contacts in to phone or sim card memory.

Tks, but Google Contacts is already installed. The problem is thwtI can't change the factory default Tel app to Google app, understand?!

Hi,
Google Contacts can not work as phone app (that's not a phone app), that's why you can't set it as default phone app. Try Dialer, Phone, Call Block & Contacts by Simpler for example.
Please check whether your phone numbers are saved starting with the country codes in your google account. Only numbers saved with country code will be identified by the system.
