Hey guys!

I've got a Umi Plus a year ago, and last december the battery started to get bigger and almost opened the phone in two, but it kept working for a few days, then it died. I thougth it could be only the battery, so I bought a new battery from Aliexpress and sent the phone for a professional. But when he putted it on, it simply doesn't turn on. The guy told me the motherboard doesn't respond the button "on", something related to the fact that it needed at least 4 amperes to turn on, but it's marking under 2 amperes in his equipments.

I searched all around the internet and found no motherboard replacement for Umi PLUS.

Any suggestions to what I can do?

Unfortunately currently I can find only motherboard for Umi Plus E.
You shouldn't charge and use phone with inflated battery.
Also repairing shop could damage something inside during repair.
Please connect battery in to motherboard and keep charging for few hours.
Are you getting notifications light during charging?
Did you flash complet ROM with SPFT?

No, @MarcinP, I didn't flash it.
When I connect it to charge, it simply doesn't respond.

I very dissapointed with UMI, for manufactoring a phone and doesn't offer any support.
It was one of my worst experiences... Probably need to go back to samsung or motorola, because even it's not so good and it's more expensive, they have replacement pieces and it's easy for maintenance.

I strongly recommend for my friends to step away from any UMI hardware.

I didnt blame you of flashing phone, I only asked did you try flash phone because this could help on your case.
I know that you blaming Umi but you should also think about other possibilities which could damaged your phone as repairing centre etc.

No worries, I completely gave up UMI products. Theres absolute NO support, and so you can buy a cheap phone, that doesn't resist too long, so you'll need to change it every year. Before UMI, my older phone took 3 years to became obsolete, and still works until today (I'm using it right now). UMI took a year, and broke.

Never more, UMI, never more.

Hello.
Also I can tell bad experience with UMI PLUS device that suddenly stopped working during a phone call with the battery that had a charge of about 80%. The phone purchased in October on Myefox arrived at home after about two months. Basically it only worked for 3 months even if the maniacal care and the precautions taken for a phone that was so hot was not enough. Sin. Virtually new, but completely DEAD. It does not turn on, it does not emit any sound if you put it on charge, no LED flashes, the display shows no sign of life. The computer does not recognize it. It is undoubtedly a product with excellent hardware components but assembled very badly by a bad project. UMI should compensate or support its users if they want to grow up and show themselves to be a serious company. I bought a ZTE Axon 7 phone and I really bless all the money I spent. 3 years warranty and free replacement of the display if in the first 6 months it should break even accidentally.
