I use UMI Iron (v1.7) too and have no issues with the Wifi. Maybe your Wifi Access Point is not compatible with the devices? Check if its a/b/g/n compatitble Wifi device. Most mobile device supports only a/b standard and very rare to find one which fully supports all 4 standards.

\n\nJust dirty flashed it over v1.7 via TWRP.

First impressions:

- camera is behaving more adequately with focus and flash (no more FCs);
- unlocking gestures work much snappier;
- WiFi is also stabilized - in my environment it connects every time when I jump from mobile to WPA2 Enterprise wireless.

\n\nI've just updated from 1.5.

Flash seems like fire in the right time now, but the the camera should rise the ISO if I shot further with flash. (shooting close objects is fine)
The front facing camera's flash white balance is still off. It doesn't matter what WB settings you use, when flash fires it uses its own and make the picture orange.
I can't see if the image processing has been adjusted or not since it is really dark here already. I'll check it tomorrow.
My biggest problem with the camera the uneven color (caused by the lens) is still there. I doubt it will ever be fixed since I think this is a driver level problem.
Anyone know an app where you can apply your own filter on a picture? I would like to make one that compensate this problem

Other things works as before. I don't use the unlock gesture.

Edit: the popping sound still there. I think this will never fixed neither.
Edit2: usb transfer speed still slow.
The camera seems to take better pictures, but HDR still doesn't work in the default camera app. It just takes the same picture as without.

Hope anyone can help.
Everything works..... but not the wifi. It is connected (recognized my router), but doesn't load or sent. The first 10 seconds it works, then it drops down.

Install v1.8, camera focus works little better, but still bad to distance objects.

Does anyone know what the problem is here, or do you have the same problems? Hope i find a way to solve this, else i must sent this Umi-Iron back.

Unfortunally thats not the problem. Every other device works.
