Run the UMI Plus without battery

Hi there,

my Battary blew up and lost almost of it's capacity.
Now i want to mount the Display in my Car as a Pc, but without the baterry.

I took out the battery but then the UMI doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to get it work by soldering a bridge at the battery plug located on the mainboard or anything else?

Just buy new battery for around €7 and fix your phone correctly. Less hassles and all will work correctly.
Unfortunately you can't supply any power source directly to motherboard as motherboard is monitoring and judging current flow from battery by module build in to battery.
