If you followed mine recommendation then you shouldn't get Android security activated and there would be no request for Android security. So please follow recommendations and deactivate android security.
Your phone still will be secured due to fingerprint and second security as pin /pattern /password

I would like to not have to worry about my phone dying during the day or I will have to repeat this process yet again. PLEASE release this update.

I do understand that this phone was released only about 2 months ago and there are bugs to fix, but this is a major bug that I do not see how anyone happened to notice. For a smartphone company that marketed this device so well, I find the issue extremely unprofessional. I also don't know why the post specifically states that the update would come today, and there hasn't been one.

don't use any security protection (password/pin/fingerprint) when you get the phone in the first place?

A written way was carried out here. An error of the password when starting by this way certainly. But I can't bring about an error of a password of finger print recognition after a restart as expected and log in after all.

There seems to be present  method only not setting security as screen rock basically.

I'm not sure if youre understanding the issue, it's the 2nd pin that causes the problem not the 1st one. It doesn't matter if you enable the 1st pin or no you will still get the wrong pin error when you restart/switch off.
I tried the method you have suggested and it did not work for me. I currently use a lock screen app which does the job for now but because the security doesnt work I'm unable to use either fingerprint or face detection.
Currently fo rme the bigger issue now is the fact the camera won't work, it was fine on 0823 but on 0830 it does not function at all.
We don't want to hear any more workarounds for the problems that exsist, we just want the fix that we were told was coming last week or it would be nice even if an admin posted and apologised for the delay and maybe gave us some more information.
I'm setting myself a date for the end of this week and if the fix doesn't appear then the phone will be going back.

That's what I will do, sadly.
And this is the reason why I will keep using my "old" Z2 as long as umidigi doesn't fix (all of) the problem(s).
(and try to sell both )

Peoples are talking about  security bug, camera problems , WiFi etc... But am asking solution for a main problem. Receiver not hearing my voice in call.. I been eating them well.. I tested single test. Microphone 1 and microphone 2. Both records fine... Desperate need of help to resolve this problem..I used the phone for a max of hours  ..
