I finally received mine yesterday (ordered 26th of August). But I'm actually happy with it. I'm not really experiencing many of your problems.. I have a quick GPS fix and it's not laggy.

The Wifi antenna could be better and the same for the camera. But for now well worth those few bucks I had to pay for the phone.

I am saying that 30% of the times I can unlock the phone with a non registered finger, or other people can unlock the phone for me, doing the fingerprint sensor completely unuseless. I was also able to unlock it with my wrist, which is not even a finger.

I won't mention its name, but I have another phone also now from a different OEM, which also has the MT6750T inside.

The difference in performance between that phone and the Umidigi Crystal is insane. The other phone is buttery smooth, switches apps fast, has no lags when scrolling. The crystal looks like a joke compared with it - yet it has the same CPU. Likewise, I own another older phone with a MT6737 chip (same as 2/16GB crystal), and again it is smooth and fast.

Please Umidigi, fix the performance. You've already paid for the 6750Ts (or 6737s) you put in our phones, how about enabling their true performance?

maybe the setting can be changed with the mtk engineer mode (installed app). in "hardware testing" - "Audio" - "Volume" there are so many settings and nowhere to find a simple manual.
I have tried to change the volume of incoming call because it is so quiet that the caller is difficult to understand. But no success. If anyone can explain this I would be thankful.

Issues:

1) Poor Sound from earspeaker when on a call
2) Poor 4G in areas of 4G even if it is supposed to be compactible with your device map website http://maps.mobileworldlive.com/
3) Bluetooth keeps dropping signal device when it is more than 2m away from phone
4) Poor battery life.

So I have tested sim on other phones in same area and the signal is very good.

I am not saying UMIdigi crystal is a terrible phone, but it is not very consistent and reliable. If there are ways to improve these above problems, then that would be good.

UMIDIGI please ensure that the next OTA update will include the October 2017 Security patch that has been raised by Google.

Hi,

Posting this here as I am unable to create new topic.

I have Umidigi Crystal 4gb device. I am trying to install company app but the Microsoft Intune application says my device is compromised or rooted. Due to this I am unable to install any applicatoin. McAfee mobile security andriod app also says my device is rooted.
I have stock rom with no modificiation. I have done wireless update.

Please help me to fix the issue.

Yes I also do not understand it maybe some tech members, UMIDIGI, Admin can clarify this. Although the Crystal "seems" to be not rooted but Busy Box is installed. Busy Box is normally there for rooted devices. Device also failed SafetyNet compatability test with the device basic integrity indicated as false. Possibly UMIDIGI engineers can secure the device OS accordingly.
