Concerning the email push notification problem I mentioned above: This seems to go away when I disable the "battery optimisation" for K-9 in the Android setting. So far I have not noticed any difference in battery run time. It looks like K9 is not aware of this feature, so probably not a problem with this ROM.

The battery saving modes are really realy helpful but a lot users not reading settings of this options and then facing some issues blaming ROM or hardware.

Another option is background tasks clear which could cause some issues too as if you have activated this option and apps are added to white list then system is switching off apps it self to save battery and RAM space. You need check each app on white list to be not switch off it self by system

Hello,

I use the schedule power on and off to make the phone sleep during the night. A few weeks ago, there was a sound after the phone started when the phone was ready and waiting for the PIN code. The scheduled power on is now silent but I don't know why.

How should I re enable the default notification sound when the phone starts on schedule ? (I do no intend to do a factory reset for that)

Oh, and there seem to be a bug because after some days, the scheduled power on does not work while the scheduled power off keeps working. I have to disable and re enable it to make it work again for about 3 days.

I just discovered an issue in the bluetooth system.
I paired with a hands-free device that I already used with other phones before without problems.
Once connected, on a regular and continuous basis, the phone disconnects and reconnects over and over and over again. Indifferently being active as blocked.
I have not tested with other audio devices yet.
I have a smart bracelet, but I do not notice anything unusual, possibly because it requires little synchronization time.
I tried to put in "white list" everything related to bluetooth and telephony without getting any improvement.
It is a real problem not to be able to use handsfree.
Any extra settings to try?
I have checked the working with my wife's phone, and everything works correctly. Therefore discard problems of the hands-free device.

PD. When my UMI PLUS ran android 6.0, it worked correctly with this hands-free device.

\n\nHello, after OTA update V3.01_20161228 (from android 6), dialer have problem, probably with Cyrillic symbol from google account phones book, after synchronization. Dialer periodically fall. Please fix this.

* I have two Wifi access points here. When moving from one to the other (Wifi roaming) the connection sometimes drops and can't be reestablished for some time. It seems like scanning for Wifi does sometimes still report the "old" AP that I was connected to before. Turning Wifi off and on again helps.

The problem seems to be that scanning for WiFi networks does not work when I am already connected. Neither the Android Wifi settings nor any third party apps update correctly when I move out of range of the first and into the area covered by my second Access Point. Maybe it's my Wifi setup - first AP is a/b/g/n, while the other is only b/g/n, so moving from 5GHz to 2.4Ghz and back may be the problem.

Does anyone else have similar problems?

Could you retry with Location enabled ?
Wifi scanning seems to depend on Location since Android 6.

\n\nI keep the location set to "on" almost always, set to "High Accuracy". "Wi-Fi Scanning" and "Bluetooth Scanning" are both turned on, too.
Under "normal" conditions, e.g. when I come home in the evening or when I enter the range of other known Wi-Fi networks, everything works fine: the phone automatically scans, finds, and connects to the preferred network. Only roaming from one AP to the other (same SSID, same WPA2 password) does not work, because as soon as I'm connected scanning seems to not work anymore. If I start some 3rd party WiFi scanning app it keeps on reporting the same AP (same MAC address) and signal strength regardless of where I move. Only when I completely lose the connection and the phone has to reconnect the APs get updated.

Is UMI PLUS "older" to UMI and now it isn't UMI preocupation?
