With a little playing I have since discovered that the main culprit is likely to be the intelligent power saving standby option in the battery settings.  With this turned off the watch remains connected with very few issues.  

Over the last 2 days I have only experienced 2 disconnects that have only required bluetooth toggling off and back on again.  This is better than continuous dropouts through the day and needing to reset the phone.

Its still not perfect but now at least its tolerable.  Battery drain does not seem much worse with this option turned off.

Other than my banking app not working (Though this seems common across other android 7 devices) everything else is now working fine.

May be worth a look at the (Not so) intelligent power saving when you next review the build.

I upgraded to android 7 nougat.
Applications running under android 6 no longer work properly. So I have all reinstalled them under android 7 but nothing does.
Automatic Call Recorder, does not record the voice of the correspondent ...
I rebooted and reset the device but nothing

Where does the bug come from?
