Dear users,

The ROMs of the Super and MAX are fully compatible, except the preloader. The first batches of UMi MAX also was manufactured with the older screen version and the V1.01_20160819 ROM is compatible with that one. I'm investigating this issue with my colleagues and trying to find the solution. Probably new ROM versions will be released to solve this issue.

Does this mean that the change in the ROM will be made for both phones (Super and MAX) because pre-loader is not the same?

I have ideas but wouldn't say anything until I don't know something for sure. We know that, the stock recovery doesn't contain any touch screen drivers but the TWRP one does.

Many thanks for taking the time to reply to this thread it was becoming very annoying trying to get someone with rank to reply.

Is there an ETA on this new rom? If so when?

If I install TWRP will the screen work? Is this what you are saying? If so I can easly do it and when the new rom is available I can install it.
I've been without my phone for over 3 months and it's very depressing!

Like all those who have this touchscreen problem, my phone is on unusable state. This almost already been two months since I can not use my phone.

I think it's getting very long ... especially if it is enough to publish a modified ROM for the management of this spare UMI certified

Could you tell us when the new ROM release will occured, please ?

Don't flash the TWRP for UMi Super. That contains the old touch screen driver.
The next update for MAX is expected to be released this week, for Super next week by Wednesday.
