Microphone issue solution

Hi
Since my microphone is not working on my z2 pro, I flashed the rom according to the instructions, but ota will not start yet.

The current version is UMIDIGI_Z2_PRO_V1.0_20180823_20181019-2107

Will OTA release be started if waiting like this?

Please test with different USB/3.5 jack adapter.

after flashing my Z2pro with the ROM you suggest the mic problem is still there so nothing changed.
What do you suggest now ?
What are the next steps ?

This ROM wasn't for flash but that was OTA zip file dedicated for your device.
Please flash latest available ROM and then place OTA zip file which I forwarded to you.
Then test again.

Working to fix a customer's phone with this mic issue...Z2 pro. The special ROM at the start of the thread is a RAR format and the OTA local updates widget can't see it.

Is there a different link I should be using?

More to the point, is there an OTA coming out that will fix this? I note nothing new since November

Has the issue been resolved for you guys? I've messaged MarcinP today, but I guess I won't get an answer any time soon and the problem is getting more and more annoying. It used to help to just plug in the headset but today I discovered that even this doesn't solve the issue any more - the caller couldn't hear me and could hear some crackling sounds in the background... Will I have to send the phone back for a refund? I really don't want to...
