I tried that method, but there were many things that did not go well.
Conversely, the pin was recognized immediately after turning on the power.

I left the phone on the Q1 overnight, when I took it this morning, the phone and charger were dangerously hot - I couldn't hold the phone with bare hands without getting burned. I don't want to imagine what could happen if I left the phone for a little longer on the wireless charger.

I read in this thread that another user faced an overheating problem while wireless charging the Z2 Pro. Does anyone else faced this problem?
UMIDIGI moderators, please address this problem ASPA. I'm not going to use my phone for now, it's too risky.

I see this suggestion works for somebody...  unfortunatly, this method doesn't work for me. I waited about ten minutes from the time i pressed the ON button on the phone. I entered the internal security phone PIN nmbr, Android started...   then i waited other 10 minutes to enter the SIM Card PIN.
Result: same as always. PIN nmbr INVALID.

I can't hard reset the phone, cause the the first time the Z2 PRO worked, i transferred all my data, contacts, photos, apps, etc...  from the former phone...   and i did a factory reset (to sell it).

Well, Thursday has come and gone, now Friday with no news of the planned update.

UMIDigi ADMIN, please provide an update for all users so that expectations can be set. Also notify your distribution channels of this issue, they should be aware of this issue and be prompted to notify users and new Z2 pro owners of the issues and the time frames for resolution.

I assume that there will be detailed release notes so that we, as a community, are all aware of what aspects are being dealt with for each new release? There are many users experiencing common issues, but also some experiencing different ones, so clarity is requested.

So UMI why are you releasing Phone's without testing it properly making sure all features are working to optimum. Then updates take longer to come

Hi to everybody

I received my UMIDIGI Z2 PRO two days ago, yesterday evening i had the same problem with PIN, I turn off my phone and suddenly it start telling me that PIN was wrong. I made an hard reset and then I removed the security setting... Is there any news about path for fixing this problem, how we can download and use it?
