Same here the main camera does not focus, it almost works for close ups but any photo more than a few feet away is completely blurred.  I have attached a small sample cropped from the centre of one of my photos taken outside in daylight.

The lens of your camera should be adjusted by rotating its frame ring. Your issue is not software related.

Hi,
I use UMI IRON for about three weeks now,and i have the same camera problem!
I've installed 1.8  ...

Hi,
I dont think, it is not software problem, problem is with the "fake" camera.
You can open your cell phone (but take care - warranty), you can see the number of camera and compare it with SONY database or ask the SONY company in your country.
You can also buy  original SONY camera and try to change it, but no one knows whether it will be compatible ..
If you paid via paypal - open the ticket ....and you will see.

You can open yo ...

You mix up the sensor and the camera.

Sony makes sensors and camera modules, but you can order only the sensor and put in into another (not so great) camera module. In this case you will not see any number on the camera that is related to Sony cameras.
There are many camera module manufacturer and many of these use Sony sensors too. Even in OPO or LG G4 there is a Sony sensor with a lens system made by another company.

This is not the problem. The problem is that the optics (camera module) is really the bottom of the quality range.
This affect the image in many aspect. Shading, not uniform lens color, blurred corners/sides. Even the optical resolution can be less then the sensor resolution makes the image like it would be interpolated. (I tried the different resolutions of the Iron and the 13Mpx option is the clearest one.)

This company made the camera module: http://en.sunwingroup.com.cn/
There is near zero info about their products. Maybe there are more on the chinese version of the site, but I think if you really want to know what the parameters and sensor of this camera module, ask them.
You can find the product number here: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/O ... HD/32549578387.html

Hello,

if I understand you well, the problem is not the SONY chip, but the optics "system".  Thank you for you explanation.

I gonna contact my CN friends, ask them for help ... and get the parameters and etc.

Anyway , I think, it doesnt help to selve the problem.

Again thank you.
