EDIT: Using TWRP I get same speeds (1,3 Mb/s) over usb cable.

Then that's a kernel based issue or just a hardware defection of some devices. I still don't see that proven, all Irons are affected by this issue.
WiFi File Transfer is a good idea. That even can be faster than a high speed MTP connection if you copy a lot of tiny files, not a few big ones.

How can you prove this?
There was a previous thread about this issue (where your post has been removed, just checked it out) and no one says that the issue isn't affect him.

I just couldn't find this issue netwild reported by other users or testers, reviewers etc. On forum.xda-developers.com I just saw the same few people discussing about this as here. I don't dispute that's a general issue, just can't see it proven.

I also think it is a General problem on all umi irons.... Very slow usb speed. Also usb mode is not detected by PC. Only MTP. The flash is useless also because it fires too late. UMI Take the buyers seriously because you know you have too many competition. I think this are all bugs with possible correction. Give us ROM 1.7.

Yes, that has been discovered already. Developers are working on to solve both issues, the slow USB and the flash delay. For USB data transfer, mass storage mode won't be available due to the restriction of Android 4.4 and above systems. As a better solution for USB file transfer, a recommend to use Total Commander with MTP plugin.

bencebacsi is there any schedule for next update? Could you please ask UMI about:

- plans for implementing camera2 api
- introducing other roms (CM, MIUI) - right now we have only Flyme (not all of the features work) and I'm talking about real alternative
- what are the plans regarding Marshmallow?

any rough dates will do...

I can ask them next time on Monday but (unfortunately) some answers are predictable.
- No schedule for the next (1.7) update. The developers are working on it but they don't know the finish date yet. Some weeks, not months, of course.
- Full layer of camera2 api is implemented in Nexus 5 nad 6 only, limited layer in SGS6 and all other phones have just a so-called 'legacy' layer or the solution developed by the SoC manufacturers. The Iron still offers more manual features by MediaTek's camera api than those ones (almost nothing) described by google camera2 api legacy layer. So in fact, you can be sure, the full camera2 layer will never be implemented in the Iron's firmware.
- Custom ROMs: I must request info about this.
- Marshmallow will never be officially released for Iron but I think, that's not a big loss except if you always want the latest releases at all costs, regardless of its importance.

What are those manual camera features? I haven't find one that is not available on other phones.
Even there are existing features what are don't work, like HDR in the default camera app.
Anyway, camera2 API isn't essential for me, but it would be good if it were supported.

For example, manual ISO setting is a manual feature. That's not supported by all phone cameras but of course, nobody said that Iron has unique camera features.
