If it has a Metal cover, it won´t have NFC. The frequences only works through plastic, glas etc but not through metal..

I own a Xiaomi Mi5S, full metal cover and NFC is present!

NFC uses electromagnetic induction and metal will interfere with this process. So because of this if you want to use the NFC capabilities then you wouldn't want to use a metal cover.
Mi5S has either a very, very thin metal case (which feels cheap and is flexible, like the i6) or they tagged the NFC-chip to avoid the metal and go through the small camera which is a higer cost factor.

I don´t think, UMIDIGI will put even more cost into that "gimmick".
Well, just my opinion, which can be refused (I would be happy).

Snapdragon will not make any difference to GPS problems as snapdragon have in some devices same issues. The difference will be definitely in network bands support.
