Yes, but the Live Photo feature announced with the Z Pro has been added. Someone requested it here.

There was some talk about google assistant for the newer androids, but i dident real the whole article as i don't use BS like that myself, so much is turned off or down in my dealings with google, so i cant use stuff like that without turning some things on.

I just need phone to go dinge-ling with calls and beep beep with mail or text, the rest is just something i might use once every month at best.

Talk about Z phone being overkill for a user like me, but that's just me i either go all in or nothing at all

Less battery consumption?
Better pictures?
Less bugs?
More functional core apps?
If so, I'm in but otherwise - what's the point?

I do recall reading something about Nougat having a focus on battery consumption as a major goal of google, and i think that carry over into Oreo too.
Other than that i only see OS updates as a thing to do for security reasons, if i could i would still run windows XP as none of the following windows releases have anything i use in them in regard to functionality.

I do run win 10 now, but i do not think i use it the way Microsoft envisioned with all the things i have turned off or is not using and in other ways had to suppress in it.

I am in no hurry to get Nougat NOW, i prefer for UMI to sit on it until it is good to go and not just good enough.
