Edited by add at 2017-3-3 22:17 \n\nI am in Germany, Berlin, big city. I was on the provider E+ , but O2 has bought it up. So we have a big LTE/4G coverage but my phone looses that 4G to 80% of the time and goes to 3G (accordig to the UMI display/icon). When i restart the phone it gets back to 4G but after a while it drops back to 3G again. And also the GSM-telephone connection looses connectivity. As soon as a move the phone 20-30cm to another position it comes back. WTF?  So there is a serious connection problem with this smartphone. I also have a Samsung S4 and it works flawlesly.

By the way. I am a taxidriver and i drive through the city. And no matter where i am this occurs 80% of the time.

Hi
I am fully confidence that this issue is due to third party network provider.

OK, so I go into engineering mode and got to Telephony - Network Selecting - 4G/3G

Instantly better, now more often my phone selects 4G on the Three Network in UK.  Who uses 2G these days anyway?!

Anyway, just thought I'd share this as it is really much better now.

Hello, I also have the problem that the reception is always gone. It always goes from 4G to e. If I leave the UMI Z on the table remains the reception on 4G. If I take the UMI Z in the hand the receipt goes away. I then took a silicone case from another cell phone. This solves the problem. Unfortunately one gets no help from anyone, not from Gearbest and not from Umidigi.
Umidigi does not even answer.

Greeting Axel

You do not have to hope for Umi. Because you get no answer. The know that it is a hardware error. The phone can not be used without cover.

Sorry but I don't understand how silicone case could fix your issue with network signal. This doesn't make sense.

I know it's funny. But it is so when I touch the UMI Z the receipt goes to e. If I put it on a table or I put it in a cover, the reception remains at 4G. Sadly, in the country's center, no one knows the word customer service. In several forums, people report on the poor reception of UMI Z.
They have synonymous with the advertising for the umidigi z pro to do.
