I mentioned that you can join drivers from ROM which finger print was OK to latest ROM system partition and then upload to your device with SPFT.

I have a question, If I update to the latest (1017), can I just downgrade the part of the fingerprint scanner now using SP flash tool (only load this one part)? If yes, which part is that and will this erase all my data?
Sensor has gotten a whole lot worse on mine. I cleared the 2 stored fingerprints I had, recalibrated (without the phone being anywhere near anything) and it then took 10mins to register one fingerprint. I can unlock the phone 1 in 6 attempts now. Less than useless in my opinion. Needs to be fixed.
I have the same problem. The scanner says too many attempts. And this is followed by update 26102016. Even an update to 7.0 did not help. We need to do something. I do not know how to get out of this situation. Please correct this error with the update. The inspector is annoyed by this malfunction.
Use SPFT and comeback to android 6.
Then go to settings fingerprint and calibration then follow instruction on screen.
If fingerprint fail again after few days please repeat calibration without cleaning/wiping fingerprint sensor!!!!
Unfortunately android 7 not supporting calibration options.

This fingerprint wont stop working when i Go to camera foing crazy take pic auto (bexouse fingerprint)
When i Go set fingerprint lock always get notice.. "ur hand or sensor dirty pls Go wah ur hand or Phone" no i wont mak this getting worst enaugh
