Microphone issue solution

I am becoming concerned by the lack of response to a solution for the non-functional microphone.   Can functionality be restored by software/firmware update or is the phone defective?

I also want to know ASAP what the solution to this madness is. You call this flagship model?!? So do something for it. How can it be that you work on things like an other phone when you aren't able to deliver a at least functioning phone.

Do something about this now or I will start talking UMIDIGI phones down. I own several big community boards with thousands of people around the world and I always promoted Umidigi phones as a good alternative but seeing and experiencing this amateur like quality control I do not see any bright future for Umidigi products and I clearly will stop speaking positive for this brand!

I already sent the mail out as requested 2 days ago and still did not get an answer from anyone so far!

I also share your concern and Umidigi seem to have disappeared. Wifi is also a huge issue for me, as it constantly drops even standing next to the router.  

I can't return the unit as it is too late.

This is becoming a farce.

An update on my situation, I got a response from MarcinP who sent me an update for my phone based on the IMEI and Wireless Update Version.

My microphone is now working and people can hear me when I make calls. The quality seemed low so I switched off the background noise cancellation as I read somewhere this was causing poor microphone performance.

In summary, it seems to have worked so PM your details to the Moderators for your update.

Update to my previous:

The microphone seemed to be working although it seemed quite 'low', people were saying to me that I sounded like I was far away.

Now, what seems to happen is the microphone works for a few seconds (sounding far away), and then stops working completely. This is constantly happening over the last few days at all locations where I make calls (it isn't a coverage problem).

I'm afraid the phone is back to being pretty much unusable unless you just want to browse the web, but you could have got a tablet for cheaper to do that with!

Any fixes to this echo problem? My voices are starting to annoy the caller.

I have a different issue, My microphone is okay but can't hear anything through Headphone. In the settings  under "Connected Devices" the status of USB is always "Not connected". Please help. Thanks
